Understanding motherboard and its components

The motherboard is the backbone of the computer that serves as a conduit flow of data from the processor, RAM, VGA, Hard Drive, Audio, and other peripherals ...

Let us consider a desktop motherboard, which many of us use every day ...

a fast processor or RAM capacity of many, will not work perfectly if the motherboard used is not stable / have poor performance ...

In circulation today are installed motherboard that supports the processor INTEL & AMD

In a motherboard there is structure as follows ... (in the picture is the platform Socket A)

CPU-Socket, which is a place to put a Processor
AGP-slot, a place to put the VGA card / display card that serves to connect to a monitor
-Slot PCI, add various peripherals, such as, Sound Card, Modem, Ethernet Card, ETC
Slot-RAM, the RAM slots variations, ranging from SDRAM, Rambus, DDR SDRAM, DDR2-SDRAM, DDR3, SDRAM
-Slot IDE, which serves Disk connects into the motherboard, the cables RIBBON
Floppy-slot, to connect to a floppy Disk Drive / Diskette
Conektor-ATX, power suply of power suply

In a motherboard, the most important is the chipset, which serves how much memory bandwidth / data stream bandwidth that connects to various components ..omponents ..
